Wetlands of Euboea — WWF survey

In August 2008 I volunteered with WWF Greece on an inventory survey of 12 wetlands in southern Euboea. Two of them — at Myti and Merouti, just 500m apart at the island’s southeastern tip — stood out for their untouched beauty. Finding landscapes that genuinely undisturbed is rare.

The survey was part of WWF’s programme for the protection of Aegean island wetlands.
